Juliana Tabarelli Brondani

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Santa Maria-UFSM Brazil (2000), Master`s in Veterinary Medicine in the area of Veterinary Surgery/Anesthesiology at the same institution (2003), and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine – Veterinary Anesthesiology at the FMVZ – UNESP Botucatu Brazil (2007). Post-doctorate in Veterinary Anesthesiology at the FMVZ -UNESP-Botucatu (2008 - 2011), when part of the research was developed at the Colorado State University USA (2010). Currently is a postdoctoral fellow of the CNPq/FMVZ-UNESP Botucatu, focusing on the development and validation of pain assessment scales in animals. Special areas of interest and research: veterinary anesthesiology, acute and chronic pain in small animals and acupuncture.
